The Regional Ministry of Health of the Community of Madrid and the Ministry of Science and Innovation signed three collaboration agreements in December 2020, within the framework of the Line of Promotion of Demand -Side Innovation (FID of the third call for proposals) for the promotion of Public Purchasing of Innovation (PPI) in health services.
The projects MEDIGENOMICS, INTEGRA-CAM and INFOBANCO each have 2.5 million Euro at their disposal for Phase I activities (R&D&I Phase). The projects are 50% co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) through a grant awarded by the Ministry of Science and Innovation, which is part of Spain’s Pluri-Regional Operational Programme (POPE) 2014-2020. They reinforce the Community of Madrid’s commitment to this instrument with the aim of modernising the Administration and improving public services for citizens. These projects also favour business competitiveness and strengthen public-private collaboration. The projects will run from 25 September 2019 through 30 June 2023.
