The 061 Emergency Centre of the Regional Government of Andalusia and SERMAS of the Community of Madrid are two of the nine public participants in the project iProcureSecurity PCP.


The project aims to develop innovative triage management systems that can strengthen the resilience and interoperability of emergency medical services in Europe. iProcureSecurity PCP aims to improve triage scenarios through a flexible management system.

Call for Tenders Webinar (07.05.2022)

The iProcureSecurity PCP project officially launched its 6.7 mio. EUR Call for Tenders, which runs from the 15th of June 2022 until the 31st of August 2022. The consortium organises the Call for Tenders Webinar, which has the scope to provide suppliers with the necessary information on the PCP, Tender and submission procedures. Interested suppliers are encouraged to participate and to ask their open questions.

millons euros for Phase 1

The project contractors offer €6.7 million to companies (future suppliers) interested in carrying out research and development (R&D) activities for this purpose. The procurement process will be carried out through a Pre-commercial Public Procurement, with competitive R&D phases.

Project challenges

Some of the main challenges of iProcureSecurity PCP are:

  • Planning and decision making
  • Resource management
  • Triage
  • Data transmission
  • Interoperability

Therefore, as part of the answer to these challenges, the project should take into account:

  • Fast and accurate case and status assessment
  • Decision-making support for better allocation of available resources and faster support to victims
  • Improved coordination and communication between different stakeholders
  • Reduced transfer times between ambulance transport and hospitals
  • Information for quality assurance and training measures
  • Interoperability with existing systems
  • Operational – during PCP
  • Others – regarding privacy, security, connectivity, usability, performance

Preliminary market consultation sessions

As part of the dissemination and transparency process, the project is organising workshops to explain the funding opportunity, PCP instrument, and the expected results to potential applicants.
